LITERARTURE FOR THE SIMPLE MIND: Kid 1+ Kid 2 = Friends!!!!!!!!!! Friends, I wish that they were as simple as the above equation. Well...actually they are...when you are there for them ....or you when you need a lift...someone to go to the movies with. However when you rely on them more....give them more responsibilities....grow more mature... this simple equation doesnot seem to fit anymore. When you're struggling with life issues..when you';re dying of cancer, this equation doesn't even apply. When you are faced with troubles so big, that the world seems to collaspe on you...that everything you know and hold dear unto changes....who can you rely on?! THANK GOD...we have him. THe alpha and omega..the provider...our father. He is there for us, when we are walking down the paths of loniness...the road of suffering..for crying out loud he walked one 100000 \times as hard. But what about for some physical need...some mental support?? who can we rely on...well we can try to put that simple equation in use and call upon our "friends", which in my case hasn't worked. Well since the above equation doesn't work in most real life issues and doesn't yield a "True friend", we need a new one!! Literature for the advanced mind: Ohhh welcome to part 2, as we continue on our quest for the ultimate "true friend equation" we stumble unto my story. Through dealing with my own issues and my fair share of dissappointments, I have come up with a simple equation for friendship...here it is! Kid 1 + Kid 2 + God + *CARING HEART + ACTION* = Friends !!!! Friends... what makes a true friend?? REAL friends are the ones who will
stick with you till the end and show it through action. Many people will
say, "i will be with you till the end, i promise" but will they really? to
be with someone till the end means that through the hardest times in life
they will be there for you not matter how tough the situation is. They will
be there spiritually, mentally, and physically, and they will live up to the
promises they make. true friendship is unconditional, no matter what the
circumstances are... weither it be school, relationships, busy-ness with
work, they will sacrifice all of these worldly things to maintain and
cherish a true friendship to store up treasures in heaven. friendships are
not about being served and gaining things from them, but friends are there
so that you may both help each other grow stronger spiritually, emotionally,
and mentally... through challenges and through being there for each other. Literature for the guilty soul: Part 3 and last part to this blog...this is dedicated to the souls who have fallen guilty to being an "bad friend". When one has taken on the title of "Bad friend", don't fret and worry, simply start caring and try to show the person that they deserve the title of a "true friend".
